Sierra Log Home Photo

Well, we are changing Log home Companies again. Long story short, Lodge logs got bad reviews, and then they lived up to that. After telling me they would handle everything, they have since changed their mind and stated they would not be able to come and build it. So, we have had a few suggestions, and Sierra is one of the companies we are considering. Here is what Dave, from Sierra Log Homes, wrote me;

Recapping Sierra Log:

Our floor Plan book has over 63 different designs to choose from. It was created for customers to visualize a concept and provide many design ideas.  A customer may find the perfect design to suit their needs, they may find something close requiring changes or they may have their own design thoughts.  Either way, Sierra Log Homes can help. The design cost is a flat rate of $2.50 a square foot. To assure customer satisfaction, our design services also include county engineering & energy calculations if applicable. We custom draw all of our projects in 3D and provide our customers with their own website for hands on visuals & updates!

Due to our many structural combinations, log sizes, shapes and styles, we are unable to send a price list to you for each home. Log prices could range as low as $15.00 a square foot and up, depending on what log size you choose & how many logs you want in your home. However, if you desire a price for a particular design, or a design from another source, and or a custom design idea, please do not hesitate to contact me at 800-899-0680.
