November 5th, 2004 -- We will send out the design at the beginning of next
week. Everything is proceeding well. Regarding your comment about ledges in the
bathroom....We can hold the walls down, and framed a "lid" over the
bathroom. this would provide a plant shelf for the loft. I would frame a
partition on top of the bathroom lid, so there were an actual separation between
the bedroom, and the more public areas. Some people like those shelves, some
think they just attract dust. I like the visual interest, myself.
The only additional information about the radiant heat would be the
manufacturer& specific system. That way we would know if there will be 1
1/8" decking w/hydronic tubes installed in channels, 3/4" decking w/hydronic
tubes below, or lightweight concrete. That is about the only information we
would need.
